What is the name of your state? Kansas
I suffer from severe "dizziness" and it is so bad that I cannot drive. My eyes are greatly affected by this - bright lights, crowds, loud noises. I am currently working with a neurologist to try to get some relief from this, but it seems that because there is no cut and dried reason that is causing this and no pill that will make it go away, the insurance company, which is supposed to be a benefit of my work, only partially approves the claim or denies it or constantly requests more information and all of my bills are behind and it is the holidays. I am always it seems chasing after them to get the money that is due me on this and any progress that is made gets set back because the doctor said that many things will contribute to this problem - a big one being stress. He gives me pills to calm me down, but the fact that I have no money to buy gorceries or pay bills or now buy presents for my children has me completely stressed out and the "dizziness" is worse again. The doctor told me he has patients in the hospital that have the same symptoms and cannot get out of bed that he cannot find what is wrong. The fact that I am able to force myself to get out of be and walk around in a fog all day with no quality of life waiting for someone to drive me somewhere or calling someone to bring me something is horrible. And now I have no money. I am working to get some relief from this and I am not trying to scam the insurance company what if any are my options? How do I approach these people and get what I am due until I can get back to work? This is only setting back my recovery.
