heh my step kids have known me now 7 years. Last visitation they got up to something, I don't remember what likely being as it involved a 15 year old and a seven year old I would say it was the remote LOL.. but, the oldest (his) and the youngest (ours) got treated to my 'mommy wrath"

the oldest immediately sat down with his jaw open, and said "wow! I never heard you yell before!" (element of surprise always get'em too!)

So of course mine rolls her eyes at him "boy are you lucky!"

. She was crying the first time she told me that she had to pop our son on the butt. I laughed at her and told her if she did that then he MUST have needed it.

She sounds like me. I remember the first time I spanked my sd. Her and my youngest were supposed to be doing something or not doing something, I don't remember and I threatened that if it continued or whatever I was going to. My husband looked at me and said "You know you are going to have to follow through with that right?" (and to note we weren't married yet) He seriously MADE me follow through with it, and I was in tears. It about killed me!

ROTFLMAO!!! Kids are so funny sometimes!! My little one does some of the weirdest things. I think she's aiming to be a comic when she grows up. My fave tattle of all time is when she gets caught picking her nose and tries to tell us that her brother is picking his. I thought I was gonna pee myself when she tried that one. That and the wedding photo where she has her finger up her nose. Gotta love kids!!

Same thing happened to me with my x's oldest. I was also pregnant with our son at the time (big emotional roller coaster). I called my mom crying and telling her what a horrible mother I was going to be. She laughed at me too. Point is that I KNOW she'd never really hurt them, I know she loves them and treats them just as well as their little one, what more could I ask for. She's great. We're actually trying to find a day soon where we can go out and leave the kids with our men!!! My ex is a little concerned about that, o well to bad for him.
