Ok, so I'm still waiting for paperwork in the mail. My CR and bank statements from 2001/2002.

A week after my girlfriend was served papers, I received another copy of the papers in the mail. Exactly a week after that, I come home from work to find a message on the answering machine from the lawyers representing NCO, telling me I need to call them.

Any thoughts on this? Should I call them? I wanted to check all the paperwork first to see where I stand legally. I would think if they have a solid case they wouldn't bother contacting me before we go to court. According the the laws of this county I still have two weeks to send my answer to the court.
