I have recently closed on a house (Dec. 2000). I am now an ex-fiance due to her mental and physical abuse (documented and witnessed). She can not afford it herself, either with refinancing, or buying me out. Furthermore, she wants to wait a couple months before she even considers putting the house on the market. Previous potential buyers, whom we bid against and have not bought a home yet, have expressed an interest in the home inspection report and thus the house. Yet, the other owner (my X) does not even want to entertain the idea...How do I go about "forcing the sale" of the jointly held house?
