Okay, that gave me a laugh that I needed todayYes as long as "it" is smelly disgusting stuff and not chocolate or ice cream!
You were told he was full of it before. It's obvious that the prior posters were wrong. He was pretty full of it, but, apparently, there was room for even more!Okay, that gave me a laugh that I needed today
My next concern would be this: As of an hour ago, he continues to insist that he WILL take the days he chose (that overlap my chosen dates) and there's nothing I can do about it, and that I have forfeited my vacation and if I do not surrender my daughter for his vacation and if I try to keep her for any day outside my regular custody time, he will have me arrested for parental kidnapping, interfering with a custody order, and something else I don't remember. Can he actually force me to give up my daughter and my vacation if he is determined to force his interpretation?

You're not going to get arrested.
Tell him that he can chose to forsake his visitation this weekend if he chooses to do so, but that it is your year to choose vacation first, and you have chosen XXX dates (repeat the dates). Tell him that you will be happy to have the judge explain to him that he is in the wrong.Uuuuugggghhhh...
Another update. I have already looked at my dates and offered to shave 2 days off the back end so that he would still get his regular custody weekend at the end of my vacation, on the off-chance that it would placate him. We were originally planning to make a trip over to Mesa Verde that weekend, but it's easy enough to reschedule that, since we'd be driving. Just now I got a message that he will NOT be picking my girl up tonight, after all because he has decided that he considers this my vacation whether I like it or not, I have no option to reject it, and he wants my attorney's name so he can start legal proceedings. I don't have one. I also can't really afford one.
Do I need one?
