Even though the divorce decree ordered child support to stop on her 18th b-day or her 19th if she was still in school and expected to graduate before her 19th, (which we found out she wasn't) we took the decree to his work and they were ready to stop deducting for her, but then said the order they had from the courts required a court order to stop deducting!
We filied a modification, but are still waiting for it to be served!
Is there a way to get a quicker cort date than having to wait the 20 days for her to "respond"?

As soon as she responds, a court date can be set. Hopefully she'll file a response right away. If not, I'm afraid you'll have to wait until she does respond, or the 20 days. Sorry.
