teacher bullies

The state is ****land, and I guess my point wasn't clear, my son was called a name by a girl in the class and he called her one back and the teacher immediately got in my son's face and said lose the punk attitude- never once
did he address the girl, let alone give her a discipline level and when I went to discuss it with the teacher and principal- the principal told me she would investigate and now 3+ weeks later I still have not heard anything! This is just one of many situations at this school where boys are not treated fairly at minimum! I misjudged this site- I thought it was one where you could get feedback from lawyers and not people makinfg light of what you are asking...

Situations like this are like basketball games. Lots of "stuff" going on on the court; referee can't see everything at once; one player pushes another; second player retaliates by throwing a punch or pushing back. Who does the ref see....the second action. Who does the ref call the foul on...the second player. Who is right....no one. But, the call stands and the second player lives with the penalty.

No, actually you said "I think we are witnessing some of the things that happen to black boys that make them statistically do worse in school than all other cultures...."

You sure did, if you think we will validate an ignorant statement like that....

You are at a site where you can get excellent legal feedback with real life perspective. You are NOTat a site where we will allow you to turn a childhood verbal fight (with an unfair punishment outcome) into a trumped up racism charge!

Get a grip, and some insight......

****land, like I said, ther are many instances where teachers are in these kids faces, sometimes spitting on them in the process of screaming, and for reason's like not walkinfg on the right side of the hall- when no one else is in the hall but he and the teacher. And to top it off, they only teach with worksheets- my son has never brought home a book to do homework from- and he is in their so called gifted and talented class! Other schools in the same county- where the students are predominantly white bring home bookwork routinely- I have discovered through investigating!

Don't you know that we priviledged white people are just making sure you blacks don't get a fair shake???

Investigate further and you will find out that ALL of your troubles are caused by the white man keeping you down...

So put your kid in a different school, and teach your son how to act respectfully towards ALL people regardless of provocation.

If your child is gifted you may be able to enroll in a private school and get some type of scholarship...
But, I gotts say, with your atitude, your not helping your son any!
This is a web site for schools in M a r y land...
My daughter is one of the top students in the state...she lives 90min away from me so that she can get a better education, you may want to consider moving to an area that has better schools so that your bright son can get the best education possible.

Your child will run into situations every day that will require him to control himself...this is something that you need to teach him...How to take the high road!! This will enable your son to excell in life...not ending up shooting someone for "dissin" him!!
