No blackboard. No chalk. Except perhaps in older schools or schools in poorer districts.

I was thinking that might be closer to the truth...

Well done. We all like to hope that our kids give us the whole story, accurately. It's not always the case. But it's better to get the entire picture. Please do let us know how it all plays out.
