My wife, and I are currently separated. She calls me every night at 7 PM from and blocks the phone call. I have never physically abused her, and she had an affair with a co-worker, and it caused us a lot of problems. I have love letters, and evidence of them meeting outside of work. She had moved back in, and we were working things out. Then one weekend she leaves to go see family, and does not show back up. I had no clue what was going on, and contacted her because I was clueless. Next day I leave, come home all her stuff is gone once again I'm clueless where she is at, or what is going on so I am concerned.

So she starts calling me from a blocked phone number. It drives me nuts because I don't know what's going on. So we argue each night on the phone. So she shows up out of no where with her brother to get more of her belongings here. My best friend is here, and can confirm this. Her brother flips out on me verbally, and tells me he heard the recordings of our telephone conversations, and can't believe that I would say some stuff. I then reminded him you can say some pretty dumb **** when you have been cheated on , and abandoned and have no line of communication to know what is going on.

Anyhow, she has been recording me, and I'm in one a one party consent state (Oklahoma). But I also aware of the fact that is illegal to play the recordings to other parties without my consent. So what are my options because this really is the last straw for me. She's hurt me to much, and betrayed me in every aspect, and I am finished. I have no clue who all she has played our conversations to, but I can only imagine.

No it is not. She can record you and play the recordings of a conversation between the two of you as long as she is a party to the conversation.

Alright, well I'll just let that idea go. I didn't say anything that concerns me, it just hurt my feelings in a sense that she is doing that, and playing it back for everyones amusement. I'll just tell her next time to call my attorney if she wants to discuss anything with me. I really wish someone would have to tell you that you are being recorded so you can choose to just hang up. I said some personal stuff in that phone call that I didn't care for anyone else to hear or know about concerning personal issues, and other past events before her. Really crappy deal..

I got love poems, print outs of meetings between the two, and I guess know she even recorded our own conversations where she said it was just one guy, and I have witnesses of her admitting to it. So, do I need a video tape of her riding the guy to prove it or what? I'm only 25, and this is my first go around in this matter, and would really like everyone in the future to know why this divorce happened. It's really shameful.

You broke an important rule of this site, by not giving us your state. That actually matters, because divorce laws are different from state to state.

However, the vast majority of states are "no fault" as far as divorce is concerned, so its honestly irrelevant in those states who did or didn't do what.....and if you are in one of those states, then what you are collecting has no legal relevance, and will never end up being heard in court.

Get yourself a consult with a local attorney and let go of whatever is not relevant in your state. In the end, it will be healthier for YOU.
