What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
In Maine here, how does work. Three siblings inherited property with one building. They are tenants in common. For years each has been contributing to the expenses. Now one sibling wants to put another building on the property. One brother objected. Then the third brother has just sold his "share" to the brother that objected. Now who has control? Is it like the majority "owner" has all the control and say? What are the rights of the sibling that only owns a third and did want to put another structure up? If the two remaining siblings can't agree on anything , do they just go to court to terminate the arrangement and partition the property as the judge sees fit.
Thanks in advance..
