Okay, I had an idea but don't see it going anywhere.

If I were running a daycare, had to cut staff, and had the choice of cutting someone with training in education and someone who failed her GED exam twice, I have to admit I'd probably retain the ones with training in education too.

The fact that you had good evaluations and that no one said anything to you about it does not make it illegal. It does mean that you will most likely not have any trouble collecting unemployment.

It doesn't matter that you were "hurt" because of their decision. It was a professional move made in a time when most people are not only expected to have a GED, they're expected to have a college degree.
