There's no answer we can give you regarding what/how/why DCSS did what they did. That's up to them to explain and up to you to obtain the explanation.

As was previously explained to you, just pay the extra earlier in the year and you're set. I don't see the purpose of repeating this over and over.

So what you are saying is my case worker lied when she told me I didn't have anything to worry about when I asked her about this two years ago, (and two more times after) and I should never believe anything that dcss tells me and to give the system extra money?

It is not "extra money" given to "the system."

If your State works like mine , your CS payments possibly are sent to a central registry . In my State ,it's the State's capital.

The registry automatically monitors payments .

When arrears reach a certain point ,your account is flagged as being in arrears .

It may be a small amount or larger depending on how it's set up.

Perhaps by the amount , or how many months of arrears.

I agree ,verify anything you are told ,and honestly , how was the order written .

If $300.00 per month ,then they should have excepted your payments that way.

If by the week ,then you should not have been told you're fine.

Just clear things up, I'm not on here to ask anyone to explain to me why dcss did this. More so to find out if it was legally right, and what I could do? Once she told me about not paying $300 a month it turned into venting. Like BL said, if its for $300 a month then that's what it should be and that's how they should have set it up.

But, they didn't and you KNEW they didn't. We can't turn over every aspect of our lives to "they" just because "they" do something for us.

You have to realize that folks in positions in agencies or the like may "tell" you one thing ,and later on what they have told you to be untrue.

It's a fact of life and in instances like yours ,you have no recourse.

You should have insisted they send you a statement each month for $300.00 as per court order.

Well I didn't have any reason not to believe what I was told by my case worker and I didn't know how this would turn out let alone worked. Now I do and will be adding more money per week, thank god I only have about a year left.
