I just received an invoice from them and a form SC-500, 08/01 Summons and Complaint- Small Claims

They filled up the form and with a sticky note saying that " You are being sued- here are your copies"
The copy is hand written and signed by them. However there is no stamp, no case no and the Summons part is blank.
No date, time, and place for court appearance. No other signature other than the plaintiff.
Did they fill in the top line for "County"

STATE OF WISCONSIN, CIRCUIT COURT, ___________ COUNTY
If so, send a copy with your answer to that court.

I suspect they didn't file a lawsuit, and are blowing smoke. The courts generally do not take kindly to fake lawsuits. Filing your answer with the court if they have not filed a lawsuit may get them in hot water.

You needed to make a separate post in this thread with any updates. Nobody is going to sit around and figure out "what's new" in your original post.
I think it's the stuff down at the bottom of the post under the bolded headline.

While he should certainly answer if this is a real suit (I'd suggest calling the court to find out), sending a "draft complaint" is done all the time and, without more, is unlikely to raise any official hackles.
I might them back a California small claim form with my causes of action. But, I'm a smart alek and don't much like silly bluffs being made against me.
And fill it out using a crayon. Maybe add a few cool stickers, too.

Sorry for the confusion on my update. I'm kinda new to this forum thing.

They did filled it up. It's in Chippewa County.
How will I answer? Do I have to fill up a form like this one from that state or from Ca.?

I just called the County Court and they've never heard of that company. They didn't file anything.
I'm not sure if I should retaliate or just ignore them. However they are really getting in my nerves for doing this.

Thanks! My mistake, I'm still learning.

I just called the Country Clerk and they didn't really file anything.

I see. You have a point and your right it's annoying that they are playing games like this.

If I do get them back. Base on what i posted, what kind of actions should I claim against them?
