xkellyx ~ We had Fettucini Alfredo, Green Beans, Peas & mashed potatoes. I have 6 kids and all of them like different things so we usually cook a couple to a few vegies so all of them will eat at least one kind. I would love to have your pumpkin spice bread recipe. Sounds awesome. I am teaching the older three kids how to cook so they would love to help make that.
there is only me, my husband and my daughter, but we all have different tastes....(actually my daughter is this huge health nut kid and i hate everthing she eats like peas, salad, and hot dogs.....but i make them just for her)
I'll admit I cheated a little bit on the Pumkin Spice Bread...but i added stuff...here is my recipe
1 packet Krusteaz Pumpkin Spice Quick Bread Mix
1/2 Cup of water
1/3 C Vegtable Oil
3 eggs
8 oz (1 c) cream cheese (softened)
1/4 C sugar
pinch nutmeg
teaspoon of vanilla
2 tablespoons of Bailey's Irish Cream Liqueur (everything is better with this lol)
Preheat oven to 350. In a medium bowl, blend together bread mix, water, vegtable oil and 2 eggs. Spoon batter into a lightly greases 8x8x2 inch pan.
Set aside. Place cream cheese in a seperate bowl. Using an electric mixer, mix on low speed for 1 minute. Add 1 egg, sugar, nutmeg, vanilla, and irish cream. Continue to mix on low speed for 1 minute or until smooth. Spoon cream cheese mixture randomly over pumpkin batter. Make awesome designs and be the envy of all your friends....
Bake 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Drizzle with a vanilla glaze.
WHA LA....my husband so owes me tonight!
