I did it in the middle of the street crossing a double yellow lines. And the officer also suggested that I could have done a u-turn at the intersection where I had 4 stop signs and it was safe for me to do so.
So what do you think, what should I do? This Uber driving is so stressful I need to find any other job as fast as possible after I get rid of my debts.
I don't know that you have any defense besides hoping for dumb luck at court. If you can save a point on your license by attending traffic school, that might be the best option to consider. If you have already done this, and you need this job for your livelihood, you may want to follow the previous suggestion and obtain the advice of a local attorney that specializes in local traffic matters. There may be some peculiarity in SF County with regards to dealing with traffic matters that are uncommon or even unheard of in other parts of the state. SF is the only county in the state that is both a city AND a county, and its governmental makeup and actions seem to often defy typical legal conventions.

I've never had a ticket before so I'm pretty sure that I'm eligible to do a traffic school. I'm pretty sure I would have taken the traffic school if that officer didn't give me any signs of Hope but that officers words have really made me confused. I also did some Googling and traffic ticket Amendment or possible conversion of a moving violation to a non-moving violation and saving a point on one's license. I saw such a thing on another forum. Don't you think the Judge could see my previous record and pardon me this time and just fine me???
