Yes you are...and its absurd. Parents, whether they are fathers or mothers who move states away from their children don't do so if their children are their priorities.

I disagree with you. While certainly in some instances if the child was the priority the move would not be made. But making a blanket statement that this is the case in all instances is wrong. There are other things that factor into moving even when your kids are important to you. I'll give an obvious an obvious example, a member of the military gets orders to move to a new base half way across the country. That parent may be the most devoted parent in the world, but he or she cannot ignore the orders he/she has received. I can think of many more instances in which it would be reasonable to move away even when your kids are important to you. So I suggest not making blanket statements like this. Pretty much any time you assert that something applies in all possible circumstances you are going to be wrong.
