they dont seem to think i need one. i dont have time anyway my date is tuesday.
Well, no, you don't need one. It's a question of whether or not you want one. And that depends on whether you want to minimize your sentence.

And yes, you do have time.

Good luck.

Okay. Just as long as you understand that "fair" doesn't mean "lenient".

Even with a fair judge, I would personally want an attorney. You have your entire future ahead of you, so why take chances?

Got an idea for you... when doing your reading, you might want to check out the Texas Statutes. You're dealing with a Class B Misdemeanor. ...
Consumption 17 or older. Class B misdemeanor, third offense.

First and second- Class C

Stealth2- you're just jealous 'cuz I'm not your fan.

dmcc10880 - you initially told the OP s/he was looking at a Class B - now you post that it's a Class C (as you were told by the practicing TX attorney.) You owe the folks here an apology for your inability to be gracious when corrected.

i understand it doesnt mean lenient but the worst that she can do is up to $500, community service and AA.

Oh natty boy, I am neither blind nor ignorant. Your ignorance of the law put you in the position you are in. You and might want to make sure mommy brings her checkbook on Tuesday and drives you to your AA classes.
