What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Chicago, Ill.

I apologize in my recent posting, so I'll go ahead try to make this short and clean for everyone.

Summery: Accused of sexual harassment in city college back in 2008.

*No evidence was shown of the conviction made against me.

*I was not given an option to present my defense nor provide witlessness of my own. (They would not accept looking at school cameras as evidence).

*I only answered to the best of memory associating with this person as only a friend.

*Short knowledge of my rights or what decision to make as means to defend myself.

*College, staff, and the procedure itself was not followed by the student manual code.

*The proper appeal letter sent to me was passed the deadline and improper communication was given to me, thus delayed further assistance on the matter.

*Rather a court hearing or a police charge, instead was given a hearing by only one person face to face with no proper representation of the c.c.c. (City Colleges of Chicago). This person was later found out to be a representation of a the school, but no representation for a student was given to me. The accuser was not at the hearing but only myself, again, violating original procedure from the student code manual.

*Lastly, still remains on the record which requires to speak the dean of any city colleges to request an interview on whether I can go to their college or not.

Much better?

Just quoting this since you have a tendency to delete your posts.

As for the bolded? I think you likely did a fine job presenting your witlessness. Really.

They would not let me bring witnesses as an option to the appeal. Sorry that you misunderstood me & I deleted one thread to avoid duplication.

Again, this is why "summing" it into just 100 words causes problems and incomprehensible information for law advice givers to something as serious as this.

While we're on the topic, I'm reporting you for haggling me.

Why did you start ANOTHER thread on the same subject?

ETA: Oh, I get it - you didn't like the answers you got on your last thread so you deleted and started over.

1) I didn't like the negative replies given at me because of users giving bad advice to just quit and move on when it's a serious matter that a college has violated.

2) Post was detailed as I would go to any lawyer reading serious case. It's not my fault I forgot to read the rules.

3) If this is honest a free advice community, then why am I getting heckled?

This was an administrative action and they were well within their rights. Sorry you didn't like the answers you received but they remain the same.

Educate yourself somewhere else.

EVEN IF your rights were violated (and they were not - the college had no legal obligation to let you put on a defense or provide witnesses) it's too late to do anything about it now. The time to address it was in 2008.

3) If this is honest a free advice community, then why am I getting heckled? Because we are tired of listening to you asking the same questions over and over again and refusing to accept the answer.

1 ~ Because he is a victim of circumstance:cool: 2 ~ No divine intervention, Senior Judge won't give the crystal ball back:)
Thus, this is why Greek people are awesome , not to mention they happen to be a country neighbors too :)

But in all seriousness, I don't know why the user (You Are Guilty) is mentioning the post # times of the topic. It's your community's fault for telling me to make it shorter, post it on a different proper topic, & 100 words. Now you're just being a stand up ass.

You're wrong. Do you want to give me advice to gain justice or has society begun to no longer care for victims anymore? I was 19 when the incident happen. How could I have known what to do or who to speak to? They wronged me and cheated the student manual code.

Even a few lawyers I spoke to at the federal building (Clark street at the lake front) that the proper courting would be suing the city. But, this took time for me to learn and research about this stuff before I even spoke to those people.

There was no conviction. You didn't go to court and were not charged. You had a student make a complaint against you, I'm guessing, and the school found the complaint to be worthy of investigation.

*I was not given an option to present my defense nor provide witlessness of my own. (They would not accept looking at school cameras as evidence).

*I only answered to the best of memory associating with this person as only a friend.
What do YOU BELIEVE is the reason she filed a complaint? Why do you think this case came about?
*Short knowledge of my rights or what decision to make as means to defend myself.

Did you read the student handbook PRIOR to the hearing? Because you are expected to know what your rights are going in, not guessing and messing it up and complaining after.

*College, staff, and the procedure itself was not followed by the student manual code.

*The proper appeal letter sent to me was passed the deadline and improper communication was given to me, thus delayed further assistance on the matter.
Did you mention this IMMEDIATELY to the person writing the letter, or was it your fault the letter didn't get to you? Did you not get your mail.

*Rather a court hearing or a police charge, instead was given a hearing by only one person face to face with no proper representation of the c.c.c. (City Colleges of Chicago). Did you expect the school to provide you a public defender? This wasn't a criminal case.

*Lastly, still remains on the record which requires to speak the dean of any city colleges to request an interview on whether I can go to their college or not.

Much better?[/QUOTE]

Just because you didn't know how the procedure worked, doesn't mean the school didn't properly handle the case. How long ago was this? If it was over 6 months - there will be no way the dean will hear you plead another case.
