At this bottom of every page is the statement: "The FreeAdvice Forums are intended to enable consumers to benefit from the experience of other consumers who have faced similar legal issues." A "generic and hypothetical" matter is not a legal issue that you are facing.

No, I mean sources of actual discussion, not yelling, soundbites, and snarkiness.
There are several places on the internet designed for discussion of hypotheticals. Twitter, Facebook and Reddit are three sites that entertain hypothetical questions about legal matters.

FreeAdvice tends to avoid hypothetical questions because they veer off into too many different directions. Our focus here is assisting visitors with their real life legal issues by providing them with applicable laws, information and direction.
