My husband is one of five beneficiaries of his Mother's estate. He recieved a waiver of accounting form with no information, ex: it listed 1 account number, but no amount in the account. The letter attached stated that since him and his siblings have agreed not to sell the house at this time- which my husband did not agree to, they would like them to sign the waiver of accounting and part of the money will be held to pay for expenses on the house. Is it ok to sign the waiver or is it a risk? If he does not will he have to pay for the accounting? Thanks for any advice.
