I don't know if I am in the right area. I loaned some money to someone in 1999, thay have promised to pay it back, still hasn't. $17,000.00. I want to file against this person as soon as I get my bank statements that I am going to order from the bank. Do I have to file in the county where I loaned him the money? What type of case would this be called? Not small claims! Any advice or help is appreciated.
