What is the name of your state? CA
My current loan broker offered me a deal. I asked for a GFE and it had more than $5000/- as broker fee. He asked me whether he can lock the rates.
I told him to lock. Mean while I was on the look out for better rates. I got
another deal which had no broker fees. So I wanted to switch to the
new agent. But the old broker now wants me to pay the consultancy fees
since he has already locked the rates. Am I obligded to pay him this amount?
