What is the name of your state? Missouri

The father of my child owes over 15,000. The last time we went to court the judge upt his payment $125 more. Told him to make his first payment by january 10th. Said if he didn't make his payment come the next court date which is january 24th he would have a 90% chance of going to jail. in your opinion if he brought money to court how much would keep him out of jail and do i have any other options on collecting money?

My response:

As long as he brings enough money to buy that trailer with the two bald tires down the dirt road, that should be enough.

i think people post silly responses just to see themselves type.

My response:

Yeah, I agree. And I think that people who wait to exercise their rights when arrearages get to $15,000.00 should be shot.

What the hell is the matter with you? Got your feet stuck in the Mississippi mud?

yeah you see i've been on the courts from the begging. I call them every month untill they finally stepped up to the plate and red tagged him. and arrested him let him pay a little amount to get out of jail. but still they do nothing. what more can a person do. so i'll block your bullets

My response:

Instead of waiting for other people, like the County, to do your work for you, why didn't you take the bull by the horns and file your own "Order to Show Cause" about $12,000.00 ago?

By the way since i'm such a lazy-ass and now a dumb-ass what is an order to show cause?

My response:

Go buy a book. You'll find one at Barnes & Noble in the legal section. Next time, you won't have to wait so long, or depend on others to do your work. You'll even amaze your friends.

In the mean time here is a link to the courts in Missourri

My response:

How the hell is that going to help her? It does absolutely nothing to answer the question. That's why BOOKS are written. The writer is so used to having other people do her own work, that she refuses to get off her ass to buy a "How To" book.

Another drain on society and taxpayer money.

The only thing you know how to do is to talk down to someone. That makes you feel good and that is very sad that's what makes you feel good about yourself. it's hard for you to talk civil to another. or at least that is how you appear. so you go ahead and call others names to make yourself feel good but i betcha your life and decisions are no bed of roses

She will have access to their court system and forms, I didn't give more than the basic link, and she is in Kansas City, so they are online not like some of the small counties, she may even be able to access her case.
