What are my rights?

I am buying a mobil home and I rent the land that it sits on. I live in a rural Texas town and there are no leash laws here. I have a trash can with a lid by my door to store trash until the man picks it up on Mon. and Thurs. Everyday I have to go and pick it up out of the yard. Do I have the right to tell my landlord to ask everyone else to tie their dog up........or what other options do I have. I have been picking up the trash out of the yard everyday for 20 months now and no one has offered to help even though I do not have a dog and it has to be one of theirs.
