I do believe i said goodnite, and thats solid advice from me.
No it was not solid advice. But here is some for you:
Your ex is not being a deadbeat and is a mighty fine parent who just may not be able to afford to pay you anything more than $50 a month so why are you feeling so horrible and being such a hater?

At least you thought it was solid advice when you gave it to someone else.

Thank you very much for you opinions. Yet I believe you should walk a mile in someone elses shoes before you go and judge. There is only one judge in life and I think he over rules you. And for your information I do have a full time job in taking care of my son. How would you like to face everyday with a six year old child who cannot talk, walk, feed himself or do any of the other things that a normal six year old could do. I did not ask for him to be given to me like this and from the way I understand your judgement on others you have never experienced life the way I have. So stop and just give legal advise not life advise. Thank you.
First of all, you don't hijack other people's threads on this board. It's just not acceptable, especially since you already have your own, talk about your legal issues on that one.

Second, you did not create that child by yourself, so get daddy to help share the responsibilities and time to care for the child. That way you both have hours every day that you can work and earn an income.

And if you bothered to learn about the functions on this board, you would know how to close your thread, since you are not willing to listen to the advice you are given.

Correction: You are on aid because you had a child you couldn't afford. If you are on welfare, then the max you would ever get is $50/mo, the rest would be paid back to me and the rest of the citizens of CA for helping you raise your child, and we didn't even have any of the fun in making him.

The county in which you live will open up a child support case for you. Worry not, they would like their money back. It's not yours to get.
Just wondering, when was the last time you got a check form the state because they managed to collect welfare "reimbursement" from a child support debtor?

Because of people like the OP, the state of CA is drowning in debt :(

I, as a proud taxpayer of CA, am sickened by the fact that I have to con't to support people who have no business creating children they can't afford.

OP needs to get a job and take care of her child on her own. The state will thankfully, go after whoever the Daddy is for the state's money aka the taxpayers of CA who actually WORK for a LIVING and SUPPORT our children.

Ticks me off when people want the state to take care of them because they want to stay home with Jr. Nice. I'd love to stay home with my kids, but someone has to financially help take care of them. Thankfully, both my ex and I believe we are equally responsible to take care of our children financially together.

Excuse me. WHERE do you think the $$$ to fund all those programs come from????????????? Oh wait.. let me look at my check stub from WORK.... yep there it is: State Taxes.

Those of us who WORK in the state of CA and PAY taxes are paying for her to create children she can't afford.

YES we would like for the state to go after the parents to reimburse the state who uses our money for those programs. Then the state can use the money for something useful instead.
