Colorado law allows for any revocation or suspension for any violation of the Graduated Driver Licensing laws. The OP violated at least two along with driving an unregistered vehicle.
Suspension comes with an accumulation of 6 points.

"Violating any one of these can result in a revoked license and lost driving freedom."

Quoted from https://www.codot.gov/safety/colorado-teen-drivers/parent/fines-and-points.html

But then it does go on to say 6 points. I can't find how many points driving an unregistered car get's you but if it is 2 or more then the OP will have the 6 points.

The unregistered vehicle is a fixable violation.

One 6-point violation or three 2-point violations can result in a suspension.

I saw this as one offense but justalayman sees it instead as separate violations. I think it could go either way.

I suspect one way or the other, though, Eliaw will have his driving privileges suspended - if not by the state then by his parents.
