Would dad even be allowed to have overnights w/a child at the frat house? Perhaps things have changed in the past few years, but w/every frat or sorority that I've any knowledge of, having a child was reason enough to no longer be a member... I can't imagine the organization being all excited about alowing a member to have a child in the house overnight.
Having a child does not exclude you from membership in a fraternity or sorority. Liability issues, the child may not be able to stay overnight at the frat/sorority house however that doesn't mean dad can't have overnights elsewhere.

And besides - she said that he's a member of a frat, not that he lives in the house. Not all do.

None to all of these. But he has been cited for the parties he does have at his house with underage drinking and that sort of thing. I am not talk about say 5-10 people we are talking about a college party of 300+ people there and these parties he throws are a common occurence. He has also stated to me that his intentions with our child is to take our child to the fraternity house he is a member...
OP said he was planning on taking the child there

And of course, the underlying question is - if OP didn't want a partying frat boy to father her child.....

I'm just curious about one possible aspect of this situation...

What repurcussions, if any, could there be for frat boy in regards to his visitation if the cops were called to a frat party and found Jr. hanging out with dad's "brothers"?

Like I said, just curious!

Hmmm... like I said, it's possible things have changed, or the rules differ between chapters/organizations.

I know that when my sister got pregnant, she was very strongly encouraged by the National organization to resign her position on the philanthropy board, move out of the house, and claim transfer to another university (one without a chapter) so that she could convert her active membership to an Alumni membership. Barring the conversion, she would have her membership revoked.
