Just to give an breif update. Since this letter went out back in August there have been a few things that have taken place.
1 MEAV has left Celtic Woman and is now solo. EMI as well as Celtic Woman are doing everything they can to destroy her career. They have done everything they can to keep her sales low on her first solo tour in mid December of this year as well used their connections to pull MEAVs advertising and tour promotion posts.
2 WGBH in Boston isnt having Celtic Woman back on their next tour in the spring. In fact Celtic Woman wasnt in Boston in October and they arent performing anywhere in the State of Massachusetts during the spring tour and that was also true back in October.
3 Lisa is going to have her third child and her husband will keep her from having the same descrimination happen to Lisa as what happened to MEAV as he is the general manager.
The story continues and from what I know Celtic Woman LTD hasnt learned a thing. Neither has PBS. Meet and Greet tickets are averaging 2 times more then they were last spring and these people are getting even more greedy. In addition they are pulling down PBS and the performers themselves.
I wish I could sue and recover my costs that I incured from the fraud in Boston but because of my distance that isnt possible. So the only option I have is to educate others as best I can to keep this from happening to others. At this point Im only able to take sales from PBS and Celtic Woman. Ive had an effect but it still doesnt solve the problem that PBS and Celtic Woman are creating. I guess the next step would be to start informing members of Congress and go after the funding of PBS using Congressional oversite.
