This is a good idea. Could I give out a blanket notice. Saying before anying repair are to be done it is their responsibility to remove all valuable from the area.

Yes you are right about the once of prevention. But honestly how many of you would be using plastic sheeting if you were changing a cealing fan or think twice about putting some tools or the fan on a (regular kitchen table). Obviously they did not or else it would not be pitted.

I guess demand more form other than from yourself. Again don't touch anything or you will get blame. :)
