In 2001 was my ex was arrested and had to pay a purge of 1000 dollars. State cancelled the follow up hearing a month later and then nothing they told me they had no paper trail so there was nothing they can do. In feb of 2005 he was arrested for pulling a gun on the utility meter reader at his home. I found out two weeks later and began notifying the Dept of econ sec. who services my case. His court case went on from Feb to October. Everytime a new hearing was set I would call DES and tell them where and when they could find him. They did nothing. Now he is on Probation and they still will not do anything to enforce my order. My daughter just turned 10. All I've gotten from him in ten years is 1105 dollars. When I went in to inform DES about his being on probation My "case worker" literally greeted me by saying, :I cant figure out what the hell you are doing here" Who can I go to in the system to get some action taken before he disappears again?

Do you have a court order for child support? File something in court, while you know where he is. I don't know what exactly you should file, ask the court clerk what to file if child support is not being paid, might be contempt of court. Then he will have to tell the judge why. If there are arrears, his tax refunds should be taken, if not then they are not doing their jobs right, which it sounds like anyway.

AZ Yes Ive had a court order since 1998. I just got done filing for contempt. I had a hearing on Nov 17 which was vacated because they were unable to serve him. Even though I constatntly told them when his court dates were and what time he would be there. They operate out of the same court building. They said they have to serve him within three days of the hearing. On Nov 23th they told me not to bother showing up in court because it was vacated and then they rold me I couldn't serve him myself. Lookingf in to hiring a process server. Now they say they cant find him but they spoke with his PO so they should be able to locate him through the probation department.
