Hello. I'm a total noob and I did not find this question with a couple simple searches. Basically I would like to send a put/call request for vested options in a company I worked for. I have no idea how to do this or who to talk to. I've called a couple local business lawyers and didn't get a response. And really I do need to compel the company, I can't just ask them nicely. They're proving to be quite litigious.

Would it be an option to do something over the internet? Any good online companies you guys would recommend? I'm in Texas but I believe the company is based in New York.

Yours is not a legal question. Call the company and ask how you should proceed.

You might want to rely on an investment banker and avoid day-trading until you learn more.

I contacted them, they said the options expire upon termination. There's nowhere in the options contract that says that. Plus, our division was sold off, hardly a termination with cause. Can you begin to see what kind of people I'm talking about here?

Thank you. Now I just have to find one of these elusive lawyers. Any recommendations on where to look? In my original post I asked about online laywers/contract reviewers etc.
