What is the name of your state?I'm curious. I live in NY. Let's say I don't own a car so I don't have car insurance, but I DO have a license. A dealership lets me test drive a new car. I get into an accident. Who's responsible to pay for damages if the accident is my fault? If it isn't my fault? If I get hurt? If the new car gets hurt? What if I DO have insurance on my personal vehicle...does THAT have anything to do with test driving a car? How does it work?
