you need to realize something. unless you were acting as the attorney, you can never know what happened since you are not privy to ALL the information.

child support is NOT based on the new spouses income. EVER. the income the spouse makes can be INPUTED for the parent to be ordered to pay when it is proven the paying parent is reducing his/her income. the new spouse will never be held accountable for a child they did not create. the new spouse gets to walk away anytime they feel like it with NO repocussions.

Thank you for your reply! That's exactly the answer I wanted to confirm. No matter I put my income in a joint account with my husband, or use my income to pay the house under my husband's name, as long as his income is not increased, there's no reason he should pay more child support.

Remember her history Isis. She is the one who expects her husband to pay nothing but have custody instead of the mother so he doesn't have to pay ANY CS.

The guidelines and child support calculator for Indiana are due to be updated on the 1st of January. Neither the old guidelines nor the new ones take the spouse's income of either parent into consideration. There is a case that the appeals court ruled on this year that gave the courts the right to take money from a spouse's account, but there was evidence of something inappropriate in that case. Someone was trying to hide money.

Child support can be figured on the calculator on the website.

The calculator figures the credit for overnight visits and takes into consideration other children that either parent is supporting, the cost of daycare, the cost of insurance, and and prior support orders for child support and alimony that either parent is paying.

She has been told that before in her other threads -- including the one where she said China had more justice than the US as her hubby would have been granted custody of the children. She is looking for a way to deprive the children from her hubby's first marriage.
