Is there a Covid policy in place that requires all employees report a Covid illness (or other contagious illness) to management? Even if there is no policy, an employee with an infectious illness should not be working around others.

Agreed. I would hope anyone who discovered that a coworker with an infectious disease was present would have the presence of mind to report them - policy or not.
