It wasn’t any of those things but it wasn’t helpful either. He pointed out something in a snarky manner that was already confirmed by a different user without the need to be snarky. I believe I have the right to report a post like that. And if I’m a snowflake for something like that then so be it lol
I think it best on forums to ignore the postings you find unhelpful and take with you what you find helpful (if anything ;)).

I am happy to hear you have an attorney. If the prosecutor has no evidence, your attorney should be able to get the charges dismissed.

Good luck.

The attorney has access to all of the facts and is certainly in a better position to advise than anyone on a forum is. I agree all questions should be directed to the attorney.

I have already asked him this same question. However, he wasn’t so sure that I would have a criminal record but I wasn’t fully convinced so decided to make this post. I was under the premise that mostly attorneys responded to questions on this forum but I’m starting to think that isn’t the case lol

It will be mostly non attorneys who respond to questions on any legal forum. FreeAdvice, however, has several attorneys posting and several members who are well-versed in the law.

But no advice or information on a legal forum (regardless of who offers it) should ever take the place of advice and information offered you by an attorney licensed to practice in your jurisdiction who you have hired to represent you.

Few people read the terms and conditions of a site before registering - just as few people read through the provisions in a contract before signing and legally binding themselves to the terms.

The fact that everyone should read terms first doesn't mean anyone does. It is especially apparent here that most posters don't. :)

I hope your attorney is a good one. It worries me a bit that he didn't know the answer to your original question.

Good luck.
Well, he kinda insinuated that no criminal record on the CJIS existed but yes I’m honestly slightly worried too. Might need to find a new one. Thanks

If your attorney does not spend time researching answers to questions you have, you might be better off with a different attorney.

I appreciate the thanks.

Good luck.
