I received an email from the plant manager stating that he wanted to apologize on behalf of the company and that it is not their intention to put employees into a tough situation on their first day on the job. He acknowledged the issue with the supervisor, the lack of training, absence of management and stated that they are taking the issues seriously and having discussions on what they can do to prevent that in the future. I don't care, either way. Found a job that pays another half as much without the hostility, with English-speaking people and plenty of training. Their loss. It did not poison anything and my experience was well-accepted by the new employer. Interesting name-calling. Still in Kindergarten?
