My brother-in-law is currently in the county jail, has been there since like April. They gave him 9 months at the trial, but had already been in there at least a month. If they give him 9, doesn't that mean he only serves 6? And since he was already in there over a month before the trial, doesn't that time count towards his sentencing? They sent him a letter stating that he was to be released at the end of October, and now they're telling him he's not getting out until January.
