was the employee financially injured (damaged) by the customers direct / proximate cause, thru no fault of her own?

in the law is the proximate cause, an event sufficiently related to a (financial) injury to be held as the cause of action for this injury?
No and No.

the company fired her stating she "broke company policy".

Did the Vince Shlomi reference go over your head?
The 44-year-old TV pitchman, who is also known for selling the "Slap Chop," was charged with aggravated battery charges after allegedly fighting with a prostitute in a South Beach hotel. Shlomi told police he paid Sasha Harris about $1,000 for sex, rented a $750 room, and she "bit his tongue and would not let go." Shlomi said he was forced to punch the woman, who was treated at a hospital. Update: A month after the incident, prosecutors decided not to pursue charges against either party.

No and No.
QUOTE - she broke company policy

Companies break their own policies all the time, so what is your point?

Objection: hearsay, facts not in evidence, did the customer make any statements under oath?

Why fire her, why single her out ?

QUOTE - My mom filled out a report stating what happened and explained how she was following company policy which in turn caused this seemingly unstable woman to become belligerent and abusive. Even though no other employee saw my mother do anything wrong, and the video did not reveal anything, FIRST HAND KNOWLEGDE OF THE FACTS.

You can't be this obtuse. Seriously. You have no idea what you're talking about, do you?

ok, was the manager decision to fire this employee an arbitrary decision
or was it base on factual evidence currently in his/her knowledge?

is this a good question to ask the manager on the stand or in deposition
in a civil law suit for this employees financial damages?

did the manager falsify company documents by not verifying the facts of the firing?

There is no suit.

The point is moot.

(Hey, that rhymes!)
