My wife stubbed her two one night on our couch and it hurt immediatey. I suggested that she should go to the doctor the next day and get x-rays. She did and I told l her to get copies. She did and brought them home to me. I am a former x-ray technologist and I immediately noticed a fracture in one of her toes. I asked her what the diagnoses was and she said that the report came back negative for a fracture. I was stunned. In fact, I told her I would take her to get the x-rays looked at again by a different radiologist. We took them back to the same clinic to be read by a different radiologist. The dotor said it wasn't fractured. I thought it was almost funny if my wife wasn't in that much pain. She was limpimg up and down the stairs so much, I had to carry anything she needed up the stairs for her as she held onto the rail. I told her to go see a specialist and shoe that doctor the x-rays. She went and the doctor did their own x-rays and found that, not only was there a fracture, there was also possible nerve damage. I was glad to have finally found someone that could read a basic x-ray! Am I crazy to think she has some sort of recourse on this matter? Please advise. Thanks.

You have the x-rays that showed the fracture, you have the missed diagnosis, so the question would be what are the damages that you are expecting from a delay of a day to get treated.

Might be better to have a board complaint.
