alcoholic
Different people have different definitions of alcoholic. I have a friend who has been in and out of AA for most of his life who told me that I was not an alcoholic because I never drank "every" day. However, I consider myself a recovering alcoholic because I recognize that some people just shouldn't/can't drink and I am one of them. I agree with senorjudge, if you take an honest look at your life and see a trend of events in which alcohol is negatively affecting your life, it is probably time to give it up.
