Reported for posting blatantly wrong information and misleading posters, among other things.

Any specific state law would overrule any "uniform commercial code" conventions. If Country Living says TX specifically classifies used car sales as "as is" by statute, then I believe her. And that means no warrenty. No warrenty means the seller does NOT have to agree to reverse the sale no matter how much remorse the buyer has. One cannot always under all circumstances reverse the sale of something they bought. To claim that they could and there are laws giving them this right is misleading and wrong.
This is pure nonsense. It's the blind leading the blind in here. Is any one of you an actually licensed attorney who regularly deals with sales?

Texas has adopted the UCC. The question is not whether there is a warranty (express or implied), but whether the contract was fully formed. There is no such thing as "reversing the sale." A buyer has a right to reject goods within a reasonable time period. There isn't a court in the world that would find that rejecting the car the very next day was not within the reasonable time period. In other words, no contract was formed upon rejection.

The issue of warranty is ONLY relevant AFTER the contract has been formed.

The above analysis is correct. As is everything else I have written in this thread. It really doesn't matter to me if you believe me or not. Although it appears that I'm the only one in here with any understanding of sales law.

Good luck, OP.
