The daughter is about 40
Her mother who is not living left her husband 35 years ago,
and when the father tried to contact the daughter, who he never
saw in ages, ten years ago, the daughter told him 'You're not my father.'
When I spoke to my uncle four months ago he told me he never
knew where his kids were. He never saw them in ten years.
Now, my uncle died a few months ago. His two sisters and two brothers
think the daughter should not get his land. They say she does not deserve it.
they say she hated her father - therefore should not get his property.
I said Washington state, but really, it's Alberta. But it's all the same.
Is there a possibility the daughter will not get the land, or is the law
completely in her favour, since she is the daughter.
