Cases like this make me wonder (not that I haven't before) why there are no PREVENTION orders. A child must get hurt or have something done to him/her before anything can be done to prevent a parent from having alone time with his/her child, even though there has been abuse. (not necessarily toward the child) Even then the parent gets the "benefit of the doubt", until "something happens"

My thoughts exactly.....you always see those people, the ones that you sit there and wonder what are they doing with a kid.....and yet, t here is nothing that you can do about it....something has to happen first.....and by then, it is usually too late for the child.
