Too young for a solo ride on the train for six hours. File the idea for the future.Hubby's son is 7.
The compromise came from dad because the judge said because of the contempt that he was going to make her drive the whole way on Florida visits, dad said no, he would meet her halfway. This year was the farthest pick up for him; last year it was the closer one.
It is stipulated who drives where and all the times of pick up and drop off. The last 2 years it stipulated exact dates, so there was nothing like this that could happen. His last order was the longest order I ever saw for a temporary visitation order, but that was the only way to get her to comply. Hence why he is having trouble now. It is a finely tuned order down to phone calls and webcam and the times for such. Given all her past shenanigans, I no longer see much of a loophole for her. No judge is going to believe she didn’t know she was supposed to drive.
Such an email should come form his lawyer at this point.I feel that another email at this juncture will just add more fuel to the fire and he should leave it as is. Or maybe he should try one last time.
I’d pick up kiddo anywhere at this point. Returning him to the pick up point would NOT be contempt. But it aint nice either. Sigh.
I wouldn't consider MLK a major holiday. Just b/c it's a national holiday, doesn't make it a major holiday.Kay...another wording I just found....#9:
The Father's visitation periods for Summer and major holidays as set forth above, shall be exercised in Florida.
MLK is a national holiday right? I'm off, the banks are closed, federal/state offices are closed right?
I agree. It's typically NOT a holiday most working people get off unless they work for government.I wouldn't consider MLK a major holiday. Just b/c it's a national holiday, doesn't make it a major holiday.
So it doesn't even have to be a holiday - state or national - just a long school weekend (ie. could be long weekend due to staff development day).1. Every other weekend with the Father commencing 8/31/07. The father shall be entitled to exercise one weekend visitation per month in the State of Florida. Other weekend visitations shall be exercised by the Father in the county of the Child's prmiary residence. The father shall be entitled to exercise weekend visitation in Florida on all long weekends in the childs school schedule.
Her attorney agreed w/your attorney? What does "so he will wait" mean?Attorney faxed letter over to her attorney that showed still on record. The attorney said it is his weekend in Florida...so he will wait.
