what a bunch of losers you all are

Wow... what a shame that some people have no life and nothing better to do then to bad mouth people.

I thought this forum was titled Free LEGAL Advice. A simple yes or no would have sufficed... but then, you pitiful people wouldn't haven't gotten your fill of entertainment for today then, would you?

I see boiling water on the stove and carrying up a flight of stairs as an accident waiting to happen. Not only that, his father could afford a vacation to Florida for a week this summer, but guess its all about priorities, right?

OT, are there even any mods on this forum?

Well let me see , when I was a tot we lived in one Apt. that the tub didn't work , and we took baths in a old # ? ( I don't know a metal tub ) with heated up water from the stove .

Can you imagine that ?

I wonder what If Dad had an outhouse , or a bucket inside for the winter for the child ?

WHO is bad mouthing!?

My son said that his dad tried to fix it himself and broke it and hasn't got it fixed.

I still don't feel I should try to justify why his father can't get hot water in his home, especially during the winter, and be without it for so long.

Is there anything I can / should do?
You maybe?

The rest was folks GOOD MOUTHING Dad.

Was, "Your ex is an SOB" the answer you were looking for?

....sigh....

You don't have a legal issue. It's not a big deal. He is providing hot water for your child's bath. Get over it.

If you take issue with a post report it. All the post here were an attempt to give you a new prospective. I see now that you just wanted to have members jump on the "OMG!! He is boiling water for a bath??!! The HORROR!!!!" bandwagon. We won't.

Edit to add: This is why we should always look at posting history BEFORE offering advice. OP is on a quest to find fault with Dad.

Ok, why couldn't it be left at that??? That's is all I wanted to know.

A new perspective that's it's okay to disrespect people just because you can hide behind a computer screen?

And talk about bandwagon... seems like everyone jumped on the one to belittle my concern for my child. I asked if I had a legal issue, that was all. I even said in my OP that I know what is an issue to me doesn't make it an issue with the courts. I also said I know it could worse, but what happens if he gets burned and I knew his dad was boiling water? I would be just as much to blame.

But what does it matter, seems like just wants to be seen is read anyways.

There was no disrespecting going on....people here do not deal with warm and fuzzy feelings, they deal in law.
And you needed a different perspective...you did not have one before...

From now on take your "concerns" to an attorney and ask him/her. When you post on a internet site YOU don't get to control the answers. All members provided you with legally correct responses and human perspective. Take something like this to court or file a complaint with CPS and see what the Judge would say to you...I guarantee it would make our posts look like love letters!

I don't know what the heck this is supposed to mean....

I wondered about that too!

I know an entire amish community and they don't have hot water tanks at all. In fact...they don't even have electricity. They have to have running water either by well or by city but I assure you it is not heated.
Should we take all of their children away from them?

I guess I should be reported for child abuse when my children were in accommodations that had NO electricity or running water. We had to heat water over a fire to have bathwater for the baby. It was positively criminal that our accommodations had no air conditioning either. Oh, BTW, we were camping.

Mom, is the son fed at dad's? Does he have a roof over his head at dad's? Did you provide a blow-up mattress so that he could "camp" on it with dad?

Get over it. Being poor is NOT a crime.

In fairness, Mom’s gripe is the Dad is schlepping the hot water upstairs for Kiddo’s bath. On the other hand, I don’t think cold baths are an acceptable alternative to Mom.

So yeah, take ‘em away.
