What is the name of your state? GA
I was sent an email on 2/22/08, after finishing my billing for the 20th, to meet with my boss (DT) in her office. DT proceeded to tell me that she was sorry that she was going to let me go. She said I didn’t understand the billing process. I told her that was not correct & she was wrong for firing me over a few billing errors. Errors that were never sent out nor always my fault. Never was reprimanded or written up. There are six other analysts who have been there at least a year & were still making billing errors. She terminated me because on 2/8/08 I went over her head about a billing issue I was having & she was doing nothing to help me. I went to the Controller, SK, who started while my boss was out sick. When DT. came back from being sick & found out that, I had talked with SK. D was furious & called me unto her office & told me she almost fired me because I did not send the invoice I have been referring to out on time & because she is the Billing Director & not SK. I tried to explain why I did it, but she did not want to hear what I had to say. Do I have a case even though I am in a "at will" state?
