What is the name of your state? Pa
Earlier, I posted about lack of communicating with my sons mom and she has yet to respond.
I coach my sons 5 y/o baseball team.
This was my sons mother time (weekend). She had to work so her mother came at the end of the game. As soon as we got off the field, grandma came over to my 5 year old and grabbed his hand and said lets go. I'm talking less than 1 minute after the game. I always treat the team to snacks at the concession stand after the game.
Also, my parents were there and didnt get the hugs and goodbyes we always do. This all happend when I was packing up the equipment. As I looked up, I saw my soon being rushed away with the maternal grandma. He was completely turned around to me and she was one step in front of him pulling him. I was trying to talk to him as she kept pulling. I called her name and made her stop. I then went up to my son and had him go away from the scene with my mother so I could address this aggressiveness that is not tolerated. Long story short, maternal grandma has anger issues and thinks she is the boss- She got out of control, screaming, she was slamming car doors she hit my dad, she tried provoking me, and I told her to leave and I did not allow my son to go with her(even though this is moms time). I called mom and held the phone up to allow her to hear how out of control her mother was.
This all happened in front of two 5 y/o tball teams and parents. She was banned from the field.
I emailed mother and said I do not want grandma to be alone with our son until this issue is dealt with. That went over like a led balloon. Mom is in denial of everything.
I wanted to deal with this issue with mom but mom has refused any and all communication.
What is the right thing to do?
