I agree and that's why I'm going to court to see about placing that order for both parties to not have third parties use corporal punishment...then that will quash all the controlling behavior on both parties
Not likely.

But at least it would give you both an order to enforce on this particular matter.

ETA: dangit, 2M beat me to it. (Beat...think I'm gonna call the cops...) :p

Did he open with asking you not to allow hubby to HIT or did he run with filing a complaint.

Did that HITTING possibly cross the line of ABUSE. A line, that you admit, Stepmom did NOT cross?

Sounds like your getting back at him for limiting your hubby rather that worrying about the child's interests.
well if hubby is limited then daddy needs to be limited.....and hubby told me to my face that he dont want my hubby to ever touch his child...now isnt that MY TIME with our child? it seems you all are for dad and stepmom but I'm the one being unreasonable

Oh for the love of God. She told you when they dropped the child off.

Did she smack your child into the middle of next week? Is he going to walk with a permanent limp now?

My personal, non-legal opinion is that you are blowing this WAAAAYYYY out of porportion. Calling the cops over a spanking that Smom had dad's permission to give? Pure craziness.
Re the bolded -- if stepmom had, then MOM would have known it PRIOR to the end of dad's visitation time so then she would be here griping about that instead of griping that she found out at the end of the time. Dang, I used words with more than one syllable. Guys, we need to slow this down for her.

So you are going to run to court every time someone does something that you don't agree with?

You need to find a way to COMMUNICATE with the father of your child - and I mean, NOT in a court room.

YOU are the one that is here. And yes you are being UNREASONABLE -- more than one syllable but since you used it properly in a sentence I figured you might comprehend. If I am wrong, oh well.

You used the word HIT to describe what your husband did.
Dad used the word TOUCHING.

It sounds like stepdad may have crossed a line. In general, it's viewed more -icky- for a MAN to put his hands on someone else's child.

You are retaliating and it's silly.

Have a talk with Dad BEFORE you pursue things in court. Attempting to press charges is ludicrous.

You still haven't stated what the allegations against stepdad were.

how the hell am I being unreasonable...DAD TOLD ME I CAN HAVE HUBBY HIT OUR CHILD ON MY TIME EVER! NOW WHEN HIS WIFE DOES IT, IT'S OKAY AND I'M YET UNREASONABLE....DAD CAN MAKE HIS REQUEST BUT WHEN I MAKE MINE, IT'S DO OR DIE...YOU PEOPLE ARE REDICULOUS
