What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Kentucky
I am married, have been for 2 1/2 years. I just found out that I am about 6 weeks pregnant. My husband is not happy, does not want me to proceed with the pregnancy. I am a high risk case, probably won't be able to carry to term, but my intentions are to try. I already know that I will have to have surgery @ 12 weeks & will probably be put out of work & on bedrest. He is already saying, "Are you sure that there is no chance that it belongs to someone else" That is not in question, I would have no reservations to submit to a DNA test once the baby arrives.
Since I would not agree to give up on this pregnancy, he is not "speaking" to me. I have called him & updated him on 2 ER visits (already started having complications) He is not concerned about me or this baby. Even though I have good insurance, both through my employer & his, I will have medical bills that I will be responsible for. Is it possible to have him be partially responsible for these? With the very real possibility that I will be out of work, this does concern me. Any advice would be appreciated.
