The child is exhibiting no symptoms and running a very low fever - high enough to get sent home from school, but not high enough to be of concern.
Personally? I'd recommend Motrin instead of Tylenol. Always killed my kids' fevers FAST, Tylenol wouldn't touch 'em.
Legally? If it's not a 'get the kid into the doctor NOW' or 'take the kid to the ER' illness or 'kid is puking everywhere and can't tolerate a ride in the car' type illness, you'd better get the kid to the meeting spot as ordered. Because a touch of the flu/low fever is NOT gonna make a judge think you're in the right on this one.
